The personal, sometimes technical musings of a relevance nerd who really likes mathematical models, theoretical understanding of the world, abstract puzzles and games, testing the boundaries of things (in many, many senses of the word). Sometimes endurance-sport masochist and general lover of the outdoors.

I spend a lot of time thinking about how AI will change things, and what it makes possible, and how it works (and doesn’t). By day (what they pay me for) is helping guide tech companies to use AI and Search technologies to build products useful to their customers, and in particular, focusing on the notion of incremental progress toward relevance which is easier to maintain, faster, or better (or, ideally: all three).
